Medieval Shields were developed to shield, or protect, a soldier from the direct shots from the weapons of their enemies. In Medieval ages shields were sometimes used as a weapon as well. There are many types of medieval and viking shields: Kite shield, Heater shield, Buckler shield, Targe shield, Pavise shields and Bouche shields.

The shields in our shop are battle shields, they can be used for the historical reenactment battles.
