Rod, the god of creation and ancestry in ancient Slavic mythology. He is considered the primordial deity, the origin of all life and the guardian of family and kin. In early Slavic beliefs, Rod was honored as the invisible force behind fate, birth, and generational continuity. Often depicted as a wise elder surrounded by symbols of the cosmos, he watches over the balance between the spiritual and earthly worlds.
