Helios was the Greek god of the sun and guardian of oaths. He was depicted as a radiant young man crowned with a shining halo, often driving a chariot drawn by four fiery horses across the sky. His attributes included the solar crown, a whip, and the golden chariot. Helios was believed to see and hear everything that happened during the day. In classical sculpture and fresco, he was usually depicted clothed, with a muscular build, guiding his sun chariot or standing with a glowing aureole around his head.

Our Helios figurine is made of oak hardwood by hands of skilled European carvers. The statue is covered with natural oil wax to keep it older style. Check out other oak statues: Poseidon statue, Melinoe statue, and Hecate statue
