The Morai were the Greek goddesses of fate who governed the destinies of all beings, mortal and divine. They were depicted as three women: Clotho, who spun the thread of life; Lachesis, who measured it; and Atropos, who cut it. Their attributes included the spindle, thread, scrolls, and shears. Unlike the youthful deities of Olympus, the Morai were often portrayed as stern and timeless figures, symbolizing the inescapable nature of destiny. In classical art, they were usually shown working together, embodying the passage of life from birth to death

Our  Morai figurine is made of oak hardwood by hands of skilled European carvers. The statue is covered with natural oil wax to keep it older style. Check out other oak statues:  Maia statue, Eos statue and Hecate statue
