Pan was the rustic god of shepherds, flocks, nature and wild places. He was depicted as a half-man, half-goat figure with the legs, horns and beard of a goat, often playing his signature panpipes (syrinx). His attributes included the reed pipe, shepherd’s crook, and a crown of pine needles. Frequently associated with untamed landscapes and pastoral life, Pan was known for his playful and lustful nature. In classical sculpture and fresco, he was usually shown in motion, amid woodland scenes, or pursuing nymphs, embodying the spirit of the wild.

Our Pan figurine is made of oak hardwood by hands of skilled European carvers. The statue is covered with natural oil wax to keep it older style. Check out other oak statues: Poseidon statue, Melinoe statue, and Hecate statue
