Freyja was the Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility, and war. She was portrayed as a radiant and powerful woman, often riding a chariot pulled by two cats or accompanied by her boar Hildisvíni. As one of the most venerated deities in Norse mythology, she ruled over Fólkvangr, a realm where half of those slain in battle were welcomed, sharing the fallen with Odin.
