Frigg was the Norse goddess of marriage, motherhood, wisdom, and foresight. She was depicted as a noble and majestic woman, often seated on her high throne Hliðskjálf from which she could see into all realms. As the wife of Odin and queen of the Aesir gods, Frigg held great influence and was deeply associated with family, destiny, and protection of the home. Her sacred symbols included the spindle and distaff, representing domestic life and the weaving of fate. Unlike the warrior goddesses of Norse lore, Frigg embodied calm authority, silent wisdom, and maternal strength. She was often portrayed wearing flowing robes and surrounded by celestial or domestic imagery.
