Skadi was the Norse goddess of winter, mountains, hunting and skiing. She was depicted as a tall and striking woman dressed in furs, often carrying a bow or skis. Her attributes included snowshoes, a bow, a wolf, and the snowy peaks she called home. Skadi was a giantess who joined the Aesir gods after seeking vengeance for her father's death. In Norse mythology, she was known for her strength, independence, and connection to the cold wilderness.
